My Merlin Prompt Table Filming was over. Having just finished the last scenes of the third series they all heaved a sigh of relief. Seven months hard graft was finally over. They’d been pushed for time for months and now the pressure of it all was lifted.
Emilia reclined back in one of the chairs, ankles hurting from her evening on her feet. She ran her hand over her bump, chuckling to herself over the obvious attempts at hiding it from the cameras. They’d given up being clever with camera shots quickly and made her wear her cloak.
Angel came streaming past her with Colin hot on her heels, she squealed as he lunged to hit her but she dived out of the way and up the stairs of the castle. Emilia laughed. Katie sat down next to her breathing heavily; “You alright?”
“No tag-backs,” Katie said by way of explanation, “I’m safe for now.”
“I see,” the blonde replied with a smile, “Forgive me if I don’t join you. I’ll be on it before you can say ‘Merlin’ and stay on it because I can barely move faster than a slow walk.”
“At least you have an excuse not to join in. I’m tired already and I only sprinted twenty metres to catch Colin,” the pair of them laughed. Katie swiped her water bottle from beside the chair and downed half of the remaining liquid. She noticed Bradley peek out from behind one of the pillars, “Colin!” Katie shouted and pointed towards the cloisters. The younger Irishman, having not gone after Angel up the stairs, ran across the courtyard towards their co-star. Bradley took the time to scowl at her before he took off towards the dungeons.
Angel hung out of the window at the top of the stone staircase just inside the door. She crossed her arms and leant on the window ledge, “Katie!” she shouted having spotted Bradley coming out of the dungeon corridor running straight for her, “Run!”
“See you later,” Katie quickly kissed Emilia on the cheek and ran off into the castle in the direction of Angel.
“Don’t come this way!” the older female shouted as she ran deeper into the castle. As she turned into a corridor she had presumed to be empty she came across Rupert.
“What are you guys up to?” she shushed him and then tackled him into a small alcove with a locked door in it, holding her finger to his lips to quieten him.
Katie stormed past, followed by Bradley at breakneck speed.
“What was that about?”
“I don’t want to be on it,” She shrugged and poked her head out of the alcove. Bradley had stopped and was doubled over heaving for breath when he saw her, he turned and doubled back on himself towards her, “Gotta go!” she ran off.
Bradley stopped by the alcove and looked into it. Before Rupert could contemplate what was going trough Bradley’s mind he was hit upside the arm and told he was it and the blonde disappeared quicker than he had come.

The sun set quickly over the castle, leaving it in darkness.
The crew were still taking props out of the Great Hall and from the courtyard from the day’s filming. Instead of going back to the hotel like they had previously intended, instead they had started running around playing a childish game of Tag.
Despite her best efforts, Angel had been eventually tagged by Katie as she’d run past a doorway that Katie was hiding in. It hadn’t taken long for Angel to catch up with Colin. He’d given up running too far too fast and she caught him with ease and then got to relax whilst she watched him chase after Bradley and Rupert.
The three of them ran at a full sprint down the cloisters as Anthony and Richard came out of the doorway. They’d had one final part scene to film in a corridor but now they were done. Anthony jumped feet into the air as they went tearing past. Colin shouted an apology as he gradually caught up with the others.
“I don’t know why you aren’t running,” Colin said looking dangerously at Katie. She stopped laughing. Rupert and Bradley had taken off out of the courtyard and onto the grass out the front.
She looked to Angel and Emilia for support, “No tag backs,” Angel said with her hands in the air. Katie scowled at her and took off towards the chapel. Colin followed her, and, being the faster runner, he quickly caught her.
He had her around the middle as she squealed. He chuckled into her ear and didn’t let go straight away, “If Tom was here then he’d stand up for me!”
“Like hell he would,” Colin replied, catching his breath, “How about a deal?”
She eyed him suspiciously; it was in Colin Morgan to play dirty and she knew it. She’d seen him steal money when they’d played Monopoly or watch others scratch off names, weapons and rooms when they played Cluedo, “Go on?”
“I pretend I’m on it. We go out the front, you stay in the arch. I feed Bradley and Rupert back in you can get one of them. They can’t get you back then and you get off for a while.”
“Deal,” she bumped her fist with his and they both laughed, “No turning against me now.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”
With her hand on Emilia’s bump, Angel smiled as she garbled random rubbish at the baby, waiting for her turn to run again to come. She was a little perplexed as to why Katie and Colin both walked out of the chapel together not immediately running for her. She didn’t ask, nor draw any attention to herself and kept her attentions on the baby. She rarely got the chance to talk to Emilia, she wasn’t about to take one away from herself.
“They’re planning something,” Emilia deduced as Richard and Anthony joined them.
“Team Magic versus Team Knight,” Angel said dramatically, “I assume.”
“Where does that put you?”
“Nowhere, so I’m safe,” She retracted from her co-stars bump and relaxed back in the seat she occupied.
“We’re going to head back. There’s only so long in a day you can keep mud on your face,” Anthony said with a sedate smile on his face, “Coming Emilia?”
“I think I will,” Anthony held out his hand and helped her up from the chair, “I’m telling you, my ankles will the same size as my head by the time we get to the hotel.”
“Just think, once you’re back you can relax for the next month.”
“Then I’ll be up all night every night for the next three,” Anthony chuckled, Richard joining them on their walk under the archway, “Night Katie,” the raven haired girl smiled at them but didn’t move from her poised position. Any second now.
She set eyes on Bradley and Rupert as they jumped the wall and came running straight towards her. She stood calmly and held out her arm as Bradley ran past her making him collide with her, “You’re it.”
“How do they have the energy?” Richard asked as the three of them headed for the waiting van.
“I don’t know.”
Bradley’s jaw dropped in horror and tagged Rupert who had stopped in the confusion. He hit Bradley back, “No tag backs,” the taller man then tagged Katie and took off into the courtyard. On reflex she back handed Bradley on the arm.
“No tag backs,” she smirked at him when he went to poke her back. He took off at a sprint into the courtyard.
“Colin’s on it!”
“Still?” Angel replied looking confused, still sitting in her chair.
“Again,” Bradley said stopping next to her panting as he bent over to regain his breath.
“Time to move,” she concluded as she stood from the chair. Bradley caught her arm as she went, “What?”
“You’re it.”
