Donghae stops reading the line as drinks of what's left of his coffee before placing it down on the van's floor. He looks through the van's tinted window to see Siwon flirting with their co-actor Ivy while on their break. He takes his script again and goes over his lines, he stops to read the line over and over again. He takes his phone from his side and checked whether someone left a message. There were 3 from their manager, one from Eunhyuk and another from Heechul. He ignores the manager's texts, replies to Eunhyuk that he and Siwon will come home and would be able to join the members for dinner. He opens the file attached to Heechul's message.
Donghae hears a soft piano melody playing, thinking that he likes the song already. But the singer's voice made him love the song. Donghae takes his phone and checks if his guess was correct and it was. It was Jessica's voice, he unknowingly smiles before placing it back to the side, he sighs as he listens to her song. He stares blanking into space, thinking of that certain line.
"While you're here denying things, the bond between those two is becoming deeper and deeper. At this rate you'd lose your place in her heart." Donghae murmured his line, taking it to heart (a reminder perhaps) before letting out a sigh.

"Oppa, I'm telling you the truth. I really don't know if Sooyeon unnie and Changmin oppa are dating, okay?" Krystal repeats for the nth time. She shakes her head before finishing her milkshake. Donghae nods in defeat, regretting of inviting Krystal for lunch. He didn't get the information he expected to receive. Krystal puts the glass down and leans back to her seat with a blank look.
"Can you go back to the office without me?" He asked while checking the time, he had an hour before he has to go to the airport to meet up with the SJ M members for their flight to Taiwan. Krystal lets out a 'psh'' and waves her hand like she was swatting a fly.
"Of course. I'm not a baby anymore, oppa." Krystal retorts, slightly angry at the fact that Donghae still treats her like a little girl. Donghae motions her to be calm only have her sneer at him.
"Plus, I know you're supposed be at the airport by now. Don't worry, it's only across the street, you know." Krystal said in a very informing tone with a small smile on her face that reminded Donghae of Jessica.
"Okay then, I'll take care of the bill on my way out. Look both ways when crossing the road. Okay, Soojung ah?" Donghae reminds Krystal as he gets up from his seat. Krystal nods as she watches him turn around feeling slightly guilty for not being able to tell him anything (in her defense, she really didn't know anything).
"Donghae oppa.." Donghae turns around after paying the bill at the cashier, Krytsal walks towards him and pulls his arm, dragging his body out of the shop.
"I just want you to know that..." Krystal trails of looking at Donghae with pity and disappointment. After all, he did hurt her unnie. She knew meeting him would be bad but she had to do this. This was for these two stupid heads own good.
" You were everything to Sooyeon unnie. But to you, she was just one part of your everything." She finishes, giving Donghae a pat on the shoulder before leaving while he just stands there realizing how things between him and Jessica never worked out.

Donghae hears a knock from outside the van and notices that Jessica's song has endeds, he presses the button that lowers the window. Finally breaking away from his thoughts, his turns his head to come face to face with Siwon's smiling face.
"Hyung, you go back first. Ivy noona invited me to dinner." Donghae could only smile and nod at Siwon's giddiness. Siwon adds that he already informed the driver and is on his way to drive Donghae back to the hotel they were staying at and then leaves to return to Ivy's side.
Donghae turns away and presses the button once more making the window go upwards. He sighs and takes his script into his hands to read while waiting for the driver. He again decides to read that certain line again, but this time finishes it.
"While you're here denying things, the bond between those two is becoming deeper and deeper. At this rate you'd lose your place in her heart."
Donghae pauses and smiles.
"Though you might still make it in time."

"Yoboseyo?" Jessica greets before yawning.It was clear that she just woke up from a nap.
"Sooyeon ah..."
"....Donghae?"
"You were never just one part of my everything...." Jessica could feel her heart break. Did he just call her to rub it in her face? That she was right about how he would never feel the same way?
"You are my everything." She was wrong.
"While you're here denying things, the bond between those two is becoming deeper and deeper.
At this rate, you'd lose your place in her heart. Though, you might still make it in time."
