Don't have a full fic for it, but I did get a short drabble written for this prompt
Don was out of his seat before he’d fully registered that the sound he’d heard was gunfire. He automatically locked eyes with Robin, who had stopped mid closing argument to turn and look at the door. The judge pounded his gavel in an attempt to restore order as everyone around Don started to rise and chatter anxiously. The bailiff was already moving next to the defendant, not giving him an opportunity to take advantage of the sudden distraction. Don slipped out, shutting the thick door behind him as quietly as he could. He turned and pain shot through his upper arm. Don gritted his teeth and fired back as she ducked for cover; so much for a quiet day and a nice lunch with Robin.

Yeah, I figure it's an inevitable consequence of the show ending.
Thanks!
