'April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. RAINN (Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network) and NSVRC (National Sexual Violence Resource Center) work to stop violence against women in the workplace, in schools, and in the home and to educate people about sexual assault

• Less than half of rapes are reported. In half of those cases, arrests were made. In a quarter of those arrests was the rapist sentenced jail. Less than 15% served their total sentence.
• One in three rapists will walk free.
