M'darling, as they say, perhaps it is better to regret the things we have done than the things we haven't.
But like all fairy tales, DisneyWorld gets quite platitudinous after a while; they say illusions can only last for so long. Yet ironically, if we are juxtaposing it against reality, isn't illusion itself a reality anyway? It's much like escaping from one cage into another, and discovering those cages were of the same cell. But perhaps we don't comprehend that difference until we realize which we are actually living.
Ah, but let us dispose of such trivial notions. Mei-mei, how I so love you, be it in one false dimension or another.
I suppose. But either way, the feeling of regret is still there, right? I think that, simply the feeling of regret is enough for me. But yes. I do wish that I could do something rash and stupid that was just -in-the-moment- that was good. [And not something stupidly pointless like skipping homework...]
Ahh. But dearest, Buadrillard says that the world is like Disneyworld, we live in our own hypereality and little, if anything at all, can shatter that belief. [I wish I had the whole Kritik, but Junaid has it...and he's not fond of Kritiks.] The kritik says that we don't understand reality, we see it distorted, thus the 'hypereality' and there is no value to life if reality is comprehended. Reality can't be comprehended, and should not be comprehended because we as human beings can't accept it. [and, the value to life is destroyed, because once the difference between illusions and reality is accepted, we lose the will to live..]
Living doesn't only constitute irrational decisions.
Let us suppose comprehension is our grasp of a fact (for lack of a more accurate word). In which case, I must argue. Reality cannot be comprehended? Of course it can. Even the youngest can understand it. The truth of reality is that it exists; everything we are right now, whether it be in nonexistence/illusion or not, is our reality. If a child is born into a fantasy land, that fantasy is that child's reality. Why? Because that fantasy, though invisible to others, is real. And people can accept that. People can say, "Okay, well, that's just the way it is."
However, for whatever reason, humans are born with longing. The simple grasping of the words "reality is what we are in; it exists" doesn't fulfill us at all. Hence, the trouble is not that we aren't supposed the grasp reality (because in stating the simple truth of its existence, we already have); the trouble is that, because we hope so much to be part of something too great for words, we cannot define it. But at this point,

But the arguement is in the way that we pperceived reality. If a hundred years ago, in a stroke a day, African Americas turned from slaves to equal human beings, very few people would be able to grasp that. The destruction of reality, the pivot difference between THIS reality and then a different reality within a matter of seconds is the [end of all life, blah, blah, blah] then the main arguement of the kritik

aw don't worry, I'm sure your fairytale will end up happily, and the mice will follow you and your prince to your castle as well, instead of being left behind. I mean, WTFRICK, Cinderella just leaves her friends behind for some bozo she hung out with for one night?
If there's a wicked witch or stepmother or whatever, I CLAIM THE PART OF BEING THE GOOD FAIRY.
