NO WAY!!! No way no way no way Dr. Montes? Fired? That's insane!! I wasn't in GTCYS, as you obviously know, but our school full orchestra that met before school got to work with Dr. Montes (he even conducted the concert!), and there's no doubt that he was an excellent conductor, teacher, and coach. Aside from all that, he was a great person in general. That's so sad...and maddening! I can see why you're upset!
well, im kinda sorry i told u it when you were having a crappy day with everything going on and montes leaving. i dont want that. and i didnt want that. maybe it was my way of trying to show you that as much as you dont intend to, you do hurt people sometimes, and as little as that meant to me it did hurt me. maybe its the background to it that made it hurt, which im assuiminng you either dont realize or dont want to know. but nonetheless it did hurt. im not mad at you. i understand it slipped your mind or something. which contridics to what i feel, but i dont konw how to say it. it sorta confirmed my thoughts on my feelings of not good-ness and unimportance. maybe thats what hurt me.

i don't know what it is. zachary says that lara says that he was too controlling, too condescending, tried to push people around, and that's why she quit. but my question is what's better: having the kids be happy or having the board members and staff be happy? did you ever notice how he sometimes treated rebecca? like i just got this vibe, y'know?
not that i love him any less. he makes a fantastic conductor, but maybe the people who weren't in his orchestra didn't like him as much. what i'm going to miss most about him is his vision. he had such great things planned for us. he wanted to see us grow. maybe his ambition to make us great rubbed the wrong way in his dealings with the board members, who knows. blub.
yea.. i agree completely.. i dunno.. still dont know why they let him go.. i think it should be more up to the kids... i dunno.. whatever, we have no control unless we have a huge group of parents and students..

Everything will get better with time. Although I may not know what you're going through now, I know it will get better with time.
