The Golden Toaster award ballot is up and it's pretty fun. There's even a question about what was the biggest mistake in season 2. One of the answers was Lee/Dee and I couldn't even choose it because another selection was a better answer. Imagine that! Plus, you get to vote for best death scene. How much more fun does it get?

It really was difficult, wasn't it? Ultimately I thought that Lee and Dee is horrible but probably not as bad as Black Market or the lack of continuity between episodes. But any of them are good choices...

What I was oh so gleeful about was the fact that Lee/Dee was only mentioned in a category to be mocked. And any potentially hot or romantic moments that involved Lee was only with Kara (as it should be) And Anders wasn't bashed in the slightest - for he is no where near as wankable as Dualla. So I totally approved of the award categories. It's like they read my mind :)

I didn't even think of that! True. Maybe it's on there because it's so obviously crap (despite what RDM and DE think)? I mean, all of my BSG watching friends in RL loathe Lee/Dee. And none of them ship Kara/Lee either so it's not a shipper thing.

So I totally approved of the award categories. It's like they read my mind :)

It was nice that they gave consideration to so many things like best ship, best fan wank moment etc. Some of the things were so difficult to decide--like best death. Or most shocking moment, or best supporting male character. You know, after all the RDM hate in BSG fandom, I'm glad to see some RDM love out there 'cause despite his ambivalence over K/L, he does a great job. Good times :-)
