Another type of fanfics I find somewhat distasteful are the therapist/client stories which take on a sexual nature. Although I laugh when I see brochures like "therapy never includes sex" because it sounds like one of Emma Pillsbury's hilariously titled brochures, it is a HUGE ethical breach of conduct that is also unlawful.
I've HATED the Puck/Shelby subplot because it made Shelby...unlikable to me.

As much as I hate quoting Mean Girls sometimes, this represents one of the many, many problems with Glee. It glorified an issue that is not only unethical but illegal - and probably immoral as well. For a show that wanted to be seen as a good example for the youth, the message it is sending is anything but.
