Heh, yah lucky us! Mine was turning the check engine light on and off intermittently, and the car would just randomly lose power... Kinda sucked... Anyways it's a simple part, which means it's probably really expensive if you buy one new, so if you haven't bought a new one already, I would suggest maybe taking yours off and seeing if you can repair it (and if you repair it you can use the old gasket since it's being compressed between the same mating surfaces ;))... I got the used one shown in the picture off of eBay for like $20 shipped, not too bad I suppose, I think their $70 new... But even at $20, I wish I took off my old one first to attempt to clean it, then maybe I wouldn't have had to go get that extra hose!!
Aah, as long as the gasket isn't in bad shape and the bolts come off easily, you should be in good shape... Enjoy getting your smooth idle, some power, and some fuel economy back!
