I forgot that I'm driving a GM and putting my car in reverse is very demanding of the transmission since I'm only supposed to go in reverse around 100 times or so before I'm supposed to scrap the car and get a new one

Haha, naw, I wasn't so much worried about the Husky as I was the human :P

I hear most Huskies are very friendly and social, may not be the best candidates for off leash training, buuuuut they make up for that in personality :)

Your Husky taught you well, Huskies are too smart for that, (s)he knows you'll get in a lot less trouble than (s)he will :P

When your ready to get your Husky I know a GREAT place to adopt one! The family lives in Gates and they rescue huskys!! right now they have about 40 waiting for foreverhomes. They all come into see the vet i work at, the people are great and the dogs are the sweetest!!!

Oh yeah, duh I forgot you would certainly be likely to have some connections haha, I'll keep that in mind...

I'd say one of the things definitely holding me back at the moment is the fences in the back yard are certainly in need of improvement before they could even be considered Husky resistant :)

I'd definitely be down for a visit to see who's available, I'll give you a buzz sometime soon to get more info or set something up :)
