Well considering the cost of materials HAS to be under $5; I'll let you know when the price drops to a more appropriate $20 or so :P

These are a custom run through a major manufacturer. They weren't cheap to build. Maybe Jets only has $20 - 30 in manufacturing costs, but custom runs aren't easy and can cost $3000 - $5000 for a single unit (because of the setup time and designing) and then go down for larger bulk orders.
