I didn't sign up for the army

So the show I am company managing...well we just got a call from the Pentagon today. That's right. THE Pentagon. It seems we may be going to perform for the troops in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Be over there for 10 days. I don't know how I feel about this. Furthermore, I don't know that I have a choice.

Wow... I can only imagine the inner turmoil! If it were me, I think I'd look at it this way: it'll be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will definitely give you all kinds of interesting insight and perspective. Fears about safety aside (I assume the places you'd be performing will be as safe as possible given the situation)... and political misgivings aside... I think it's a fascinating opportunity. I say... cool. And I can't wait to hear about it afterward.

thats what im starting to think and am getting excited about the process, but i will just have to keep my sight seeing down to a minimum...
