this is a @!&#ing massive blog post (probably the longest yet) - i missed you livejournal!"i am captivated by you" - wouldn't that be the thing to say when a girl is wearing her best dress in a crowded room alone looking bewildered and a bit insecure? her hair isn't straight and sleek, nor is it tied up, or attempts to defy gravity with masses of ( Read more... )

you really do know your fashion and i envy you for that.

i've stuck with the same skincare regime for almost 6 years now!
i don't intend on changing it anytime soon
because it works so well for me :)

i loved the story about the singer and guitar boy :)

thank you, fashion is one of those things that actually brighten my day, or pick my up when i'm having a sour day.

and thank you for the story! ♥
hopefully reality can mirror that image haha.

i'm glad your skincare regime works for you! that's lucky that you've found something that works (and one you're not bored with). i get bored and get so enticed with new products - that's my problem :(

I love the dresses.

I like the first one, the first one by Stella, and the second one by dkny.

the dresses are love, absolute love.
tiny dresses in cute heels - what can be wrong about that combination>

you know what?
i am inspired by stella mccartney's collection - it's so wearable and simple. i love it and that first picture you like, the white romper suit with the black blazer? very smart, clean, simple and perfect.

the second one from dkny is one of my favourites too, actually i think the model makes it work! i am in love with her, she is gorgeous!
hmm let me check it out, her name is magdalena frankowiak.

Chloé is love, all these outfits made me want to go out and shop until I ran out of cash/the credit card gets unaccepted, haha.
Can't wait until spring. :)

ps. This book seems to be really interesting.

(I'm living in US for a year) when I look out of the window it seems to be summer (it's really warm), but it's actually autumn.
I'm originally from Estonia and it's autumn there at the moment.

January 12.

Karl Lagerfield is evil. Alber of Lavin is my favourite designer at the moment. I usually love every single thing by Marc Jacobs but my love hasn't been the same since he lost weight. I hope Alber stays chubby forever. Skinny designers (Karl, Donatella) creep me out, and it affects their designs too.

ohhh, why do you think lagerfeld is evil?

alber of lanvin does create some gems! i haven't checked out his recent collection though. when i have some extra time, i will make some time to see it. =)

i honestly thought marc jacobs was a thin man. you know what? i am actually kind of disappointed by his louis vuitton collections, they seem so pretentious and some of the pieces are so ugly. the only things i love from louis vuitton are the luggage cases, the wallets and bags - pretty much everything with the signature lv symbolic signia.

i actually favour burberry prorsum a lot more - their pieces are more classic, wearable and on the whole, aesthetically pleasing. christopher bailey does a good job!
