Poor Ash - he does go through the mill. But believable that it might have been something like that that split him and June up. I wish we knew more.

Excellent - I wasn't prepared for Tom's death and did a bit of a 'argh' and the whole fic is certainly a plausible reason why Ash and June were divorced. Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next chapter.

We've apent 4 years wondering why they split up, and you've provided us with a cracking reason. I never thought it would be one of them going off with someone else - and you've written Ash going off on his own. Much more in character. This really is lovely Jo. Very sad his brother had to die -poor Ash, again.

I like this very much, Jo.

Ash is such a wise character in the series I always get the feeling there's a lot going on that we haven't been told, and that his past might be quite dark.

This rings true to Ash's character and to the relationships he has with the others - good stuff! :-)
