I uploaded Contrary Virtues to AO3 yesterday (the Sentinel story), as well as a little short piece for Common Law called TrustingI've been pretty sick for about a week.  I mean I can think and write and stuff, but I've been feeling quite poorly.  I think it's the flu.  Pretty sure I caught it from my dad or sister

YouTube is a marvellous place. My daughters have each sent me to something today: one is the eBay song by Weird Al Yankovic, and the other was 99 Problems by Hugo. I enjoyed them both but would never have found them on my own *g*

I love "Piano Man"! Can't imagine it being considered "torture", lol. It tells a wonderfully poignant story. Ï especially like the line, "They're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinking alone."

I really like 'Piano Man' and it still is aired occasionally here on radio.
When my son was seven years old, he loved a song very much. It was 'Lemmontree' of the band 'Fool's Garden'. It was a number one world hit. Maybe you know it.
Then his summer break started and we did stay at home that summer.
He ran that song from morning time till he went to bed. For almost eight weeks - day by day. And just that one song. My husband nearly went crazy. -LOL-
