An argument can be made (albeit a poor one) that aliens do not have the right to habeas corpus within the United States because the US Constitution doesn't grant it to them, only US citizens. The problem with that contention is that the US Constitution does not "grant" rights, it upholds rights everyone has naturally. The Act is basically saying it's just fine to violate everyone else's rights besides ours. And even our rights aren't guaranteed with this subjective definition of "unlawful enemy combatant".
The best part of that video by far is at the very end when the journalist supposes that the Military Commissions Act of 2006 could be exercised on the president himself once he leaves office. That would fucking rock.
