Absolutely what I was going for, so I'm glad that came through. Apologizing just isn't something that's going to come easy for him. Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it.
Wow. That was wonderfully understated, and powerful. I like how you wove House's past in with the present--the brief touch at the end as well, the sheer depth of meaning behind it. Beautiful story, Nicky.
Wow, that was really, really great. I could almost physically feel the effort House took to apologize, and that made this really beautiful and powerful. I love how well House and Wilson know each other, and for a turn to the silly, I'm crazy about House injecting Wilson with cancer and marrying him off to Cameron as punishment. How CRUEL!
Yes, that's it, so much effort to get those words out for him. He's not used to having to do it. *laughing* I wanted to lighten the mood a bit, and who doesn't like torturing people with the threat of Cameron?
Oh Nicky, this fic was just lovely. I loved the way House not only struggled to apologize but to deal with the almost desperate need to fix their friendship. A delicious bit of UST sprinkled around a friendship fic because the friendship is the most important part. I also loved the Cameron bit and Wilson’s psychic!House abilities.
This was so House. House does not argue, following behind Wilson like a puppy dog who's regained his master's favor. He makes up for this feeling by speeding all the way to the coffee shop, weaving in and out of traffic as recklessly as he dares.
Thank you, so much. He's very determined, but also very lost in this fic. He knows what he wants to do, but doing it! Yes, this was a primarily friendship fic, because that is so central to understanding them. Anything else is just benefits.
Excellent. Powerful and understated and true to the characters, and all around, just satisfying.
I wish the show writers would get their heads out of their asses and have House give, just a little, and acknowledge how important Wilson is to him. Sigh.
Yes, you and me both.It can be done, without losing that edge. I think the writers are too busy trying to villify House that they're forgetting that he's supposed to walk that thin line. It's very aggravating.
