To take a sharp left turn
Jonghyun/Key; 200 words; Jonghyun's greatest responsibility, Kibum thinks, is to keep him sane.; for
shineeworld @ drabble challenge 36, a sequel to
Consolation on Elm Street.
Life as a part of the student council is hard. Piles of papers left and right, the reminder to be a good role model constantly pounding in your ears. That's how it is for Kibum, at least, especially now that he's receiving around twenty documents at half past five in the afternoon.
"Just put them there. Thanks."
Ten minutes after, there are still remnants of the smile from the previous encounter. When he's well sure that no one is looking, he lets his shoulders drop and he slumps in his chair. Funny that this is the position he's most comfortable working in.
Jonghyun comes into the picture when Kibum's halfway through his paper work and contemplating on ditching work for fun. "You look dead, just saying," Jonghyun comments flatly, and there's an exchange of looks for a few seconds.
"Coffee, then movie?" Jonghyun asks.
Kibum frowns a little. "Cheesy, but tempting."
"Come on, you still have tomorrow!" Jonghyun's grinning at him, his fangs slightly showing. This is all so convenient, so much that it seems like Jonghyun has planned this all along, so Kibum pushes his seat away from the table.
The papers aren't due until two days after, anyway.
