And with an anticlimactic "poof," the loathsome hwango was once again banished to its prison of echoes and shadow, there to lurk and scheme and plot until the foolishness of mortals once again loosed it upon the world

Like everyone else, I'm sad to lose you! Although I don't know if that quite covers it; upon reading this, I wanted to fall to my knees, rip open my shirt, and scream into the pouring rain. You are so creative, so funny, so talented... it's going to be such a different landscape without you around.
I get the pressures of real life and of this competition - especially coming off of these intersections, and even more especially when your brain just won't let you pull something out of it - so it's completely understandable.
Just know that you will be sorely missed and that I expect to see more from you!
Your stories have always been entertaining, and I will miss them in the competition, but if you want to keep writing on the topics in the home game, I would enjoy continuing to read them. I know comments will go down severely, so maybe there isn't as much motivation? I'm sorry it became less fun, but if it's any consolation, it's probably about to become a whole lot more less fun, so maybe you're dodging a bullet. :-/
Thanks. If a prompt really inspires me I'll have to see about maybe posting a home game entry.
As for the overall level of fun...this is only my third season participating, but so far there does seem to be a point that I reach my saturation point for both the game show aspects of things and the joking-but-sometimes-doesn't-feel-like-joking tone of some of the Green Room/Work Room/Prompt posts. I think the Intersection might have been too much in too short a time for me.
Thanks. On the one hand I hope the next season comes soon, since I'm sure I'll miss writing and such. On the other hand, a break will probably do me good. = )
I'm so bummed that you're out because you are one of my favorites every week. I love seeing what craziness comes out of your brain for whatever the topic may be. But I totally feel you on the intersections and sometimes just needing a break and more time.
I hope you're able to decompress and give all your amazing creativity time to simmer once again. I will miss reading you though <333
Thanks, that's nice of you to say. I enjoy supplying the craziest thing I can think of. Sometimes I feel like I'm making this harder for myself than it needs to be, trying to come up with an interpretation of the theme not likely to be duplicated, but it's also a big part of the fun. = )
Thanks, hopefully I will back someday in THE FUTURE! But not so far in the future that I have to write my entries in binary for an audience of robots or something.

Real life these days is just...yeah. It's been tough out there lately. Maybe this prison of echoes and shadow might be a good change for a bit.
