I get a sort of Douglas Adams feel to a lot of your writing, but I think your sense of humor is a little weirder than his (in the best way, of course). "So many coffee plants tragically killed. But the horror is not over" got me right off the bat, and you kept it going through the whole thing. Really good job with this one, and a very refreshing take on the prompt! :)

Adams was definitely one of my early influences, and it's only appropriate that the idea that my sense of humor is weirder reminds me of a quote from his works - "Don't you try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.“ = )
