Quick thought on SGA 5x16 'Brain Storm'
Is it just me, or is having a fake Stephen Hawking in your sci-fi show kinda tacky?
Oh wait, now I have a major nitpick:
"I have a workable theory!"
"Yeah, a theory."
THAT'S THE PROPER SCIENTIFIC TERM, JACKASS. If McKay had said 'hypothesis' then the second guy's cynicism would be reasonable enough, but for something to become theory it has to have such a large body of evidence behind it that it's pretty much accepted as the truth until further evidence is discovered that throws a major spanner in the works.
I know it's a silly little thing to get annoyed about it, but it pisses me off so much when shows do this.
