Bizarre Stargate Universe factoid
At times I wonder why I bother keeping up with Stargate Universe news since it would be much easier just to wait for it to come out already - not to mention that by the time it does come out I'll probably be in Australia and most likely unable to watch it - and then there are other times where I remember that I like reading about it because it provides me with a rich source of pure, refined WTF.
Today is one of those times: Robert Carlyle is joining Stargate Universe. My brain isn't totally sure how to handle this information, although every now and then it throws in the fact that he was in 'Trainspotting' and 'The Full Monty' and has played Hitler. I can't decide right now whether I'm pleased at the news or worried for his career, but it does mean that I definitely have to watch the new spin-off at some point.
