The whimsical part of me likes the idea that all this directing-the-plane stuff is not at all terrorism related and is in fact just Tony acting on his deeply-held childhood dream of becoming an air traffic controller. In the next episode, he'll send out some more turbulence warnings to approaching planes and then eat some sandwiches.
