For the past few days, I've been totally grooving on the copy of Belle & Sebastian's "The Boy with the Arab Strap" that a friend burned for me about a year ago -- and now it's gotten scratched beyond repair. With the exception of the first song, all the songs skip. Damn! Of course, my gut is telling me that my littlest rugrat is to blame -- but

i had 3 or 4 of their CDs. Last year I sold them as part of my movement to get rid of CDs i didn't listen to anymore. I wish I still had them. I hear there's a pretty funny new song by them called "Piazza, NY Catcher," if you run across it while downloading.

i actually thought to do this this morning, but couldn't load the page. belle and sebastian was on world cafe this a.m. (www.worldcafe.org) - it was short but good, i thought. i was wondering if you get it there, i remembered this post. they might let you download it from their site - but i can't get the damn thing open without timing out. check it out.
