Re: Mad Lib Theme: Vaudville Performance hyacinth_house October 24 2004, 09:48:34 UTC
Vaudeville was a style of theatrical presentation built around song and dance, comedy routines, and warm squinting. Even though vaudeville as a medium no longer exist, the style of performance it used survives in the book of Mormon. Significantly, vaudeville performance does not demand we forget the presence of the actor within the guise of a fungus. This is largely achieved through inseminating the audience. Vaudeville performers often look straight at the audience violating the concept of an velvety "Vulva" that separates audience from performers.
