Talk about my favorite pairing, I have a lot of it, from real BL and Normal Manga, Anime, Game. And of course pair in RL *coughsugita/nakamuracough* too.
It’s so hard to decide which one I’ll write the review for Shinscan Contest. And I decide I’ll write about pair from Utsukushii Koto Series, Epic Novels from Narise Konohara-Sensei that also made into Drama CDs.
Hirosue Motofumi and Matsuoka Yousuke
Matsuoka is a salaryman that sometimes go out crossdressing using his ex-girlfriend clothes left in his apartment. One day in a raining day, his faithful meeting with Hirosue while he still in women’s dress. Matsuoka was on running from some random old man that pick him to the hotel, with no shoes and umbrella. While he was tired and sitting in the street, Hirosue approach dan protect him from rain. Hirosue of course think He is a “She”. Matsuoka know Hirosue is also from his work place, so he decide not talking to him, when Hirosue asked him about his situation. Matsuoka become a “Mute Woman”, and introduce him self as “Youko”, then Hirosue sent “Youko” home, lending his Shoes and Money to her.
They Meeting didn’t end there, Matsuoka disguised as “Youko” meet Hirosue to give back his shoe and money, Hirosue seems surprise and happy, he also asked “Youko”’s mail address. After then, they started to mail each other. Hirosue really treasure “Youko” so much, when Matsuoka (as “Youko”) asked him to stop emailing each other, Hirosue reject and say It’s okay if “youko” didn’t reply his email as long as he still can emailing “Youko”. Until finally Matsuoka fell in love Hirosue, he decided to tell the truth about “Youko”. So one day he call Hirosue as “Youko” and meet him as himself, When Matsuoka tell the truth, Hirosue can’t accept it, and asked Matsuoka to leave Him.
Matsuoka already fall in love with Hirosue, he didn’t want their relationship end just like that, several time he came to Hirosue’s place. Until finally Hirosue rape him, as he still think Matsuoka was “Youko”. As the story progress with lot of angst, finally they become lovers in the end of 1st book, with a very strange confession XD.
In 2nd book, Itoshii Koto. The story become more angst, their relationship didn’t goes so well. But once again they can manage their relationship.
To be honest I never read the book, I can’t with my current Japanese skill, but just hear from the Drama Cd I can tell how Matsuoka was so hurt because of his love to Hirosue. The reason I like this pair is because it’s not some “from sex to love” relationship or other common BL genre. Both of them wasn’t Gay, Matsuouka has anxiety about his current relationship, he scared his lover will hate him, and leave him someday.
