General Rules:
1) You must be thirteen years of age to be accepted into hybrid_elite. Livejournal asks for this, and therefore we do too.
2) Make sure all of your post (with the exception of the ones in hybrid_sorting) are Friends Locked.
3) We expect all of our members to have some grasp on the English language and its grammar, AnD nO wRiTiNg LiKe ThIs! None! If you do, you may be at action to be given an Unforgivable! XP If you write like this on the application you will be squibbed.
4) Every member is required to sort three applications a week at hybrid_sorting. That means for each term you’re a part of hybrid_elite you must sort thirty-nine applications. Just doing this you can earn 117 points for your house a term! Assuming there are twenty+ people in each house, just by everyone following this rule your House can receive 2,340 points a term! This really is one of the easiest ways you can earn points for your House, so do it! I suggest keeping up with the three applications a week, because if it gets toward the end of a term and you haven’t done thirty-nine there may not be enough applications for you to be able to make up those points, thus losing points for your House.
5) In hybrid_elite you will not officially be sorted until you receive a comment from the Headmaster, hobbits_4ever, in which she can override the general votes if she feels need to. When you go to turn in your application, please put "Horklump" in the subject heading, so everyone may know you've read the general rules.
6) If you are sorted into a House that you do not feel that you belong in, too bad. Well, at least for a term. After you stay at the House appointed to you for a term, you can repeal your case to the me, the Headmaster and the two of us will talk about the possibility.
7) We all know the Golden rule (No, not the Gryffindor rule. The Golden rule!), so let’s follow it? Do unto others what you would do unto yourself. Meaning, treat others the way you want to be treated. This goes for everyone a part of the community, especially Prefects and Heads of Houses, no matter what House they belong to.
8) As a student, you can only post within your House communities and within hybrid_elite. Do not post an introductory post within hybrid_elite! The main community is for inter-house discussions (where you can be doved points from Prefects, Heads of Houses and the Headmaster) and inter-house graphic contests ONLY. The correct place to post introductory posts are within your House communities. You will get to know other members when you're sorting with them and join in the discussions of hybrid_elite(The Headmaster may add contests if there is a demand of it by four houses. If you have a suggestion as to a contest that should be added, you bring it up to your Head of House and if they feel it’s a good idea they will bring it up with me.) The Headmaster and/ or Heads of Houses may post changes that have been made to any of the eight communities within hybrid_elite

If any of these rules are broken at any time, the member may be expelled for an indefinite amount of time. Same goes with inactiveness. If you are expelled for inactiveness though, you may come back once you inform your Headmaster and your Head of House of returning. If you are expelled while you hold the position of Prefect or Head of House you cannot come back and re-gain the same position you had, and you will not ‘start over’. One person is only allowed to be Prefect for two terms and if you are still interested in becoming Heads of your House again, you must wait until the person who has taken your position decides to take their leave, and then the Head of House would have to choose you. If you take a hiatus, though, that is a different story. A hiatus can last as long as three weeks per term, and you can only take one once ever two terms. Why I have chosen this is because if I allowed a three week break every term, that means that by the end of the four terms, you could have missed the equivalent of one full term! This way, the most you can miss is half a term and still be a part of all the fun!

If you have any questions regarding what I have posted up above, please comment below and I will clarify for you and clarify it in the post.

Thank you.
