Time to update once again

So as many other working class Americans may have also notice, I ended up with one extra paycheck this month. I spent it quite impulsively by buying my very first bass (a used Ibanez soundgear) and a nice 15 watt practice amp. I've always wanted a bass of my own so that I could say that I can actually play another instrument and it actually filled

That stinks about work being stupid and not giving you any time off. But at least you got some home made food. That's what I love about work study, time off is such a simple thing to ask for, and 99% of the time, you get it. I love it.

Ah yes, I remember work study. The pay was pretty horrible but since I was in school and living on campus I didn't require too much. It was a great job though. One of the best things about it was that I got to make my own schedule. I was only allowed to work a certain number of hours a week so I could set up my schedule in anyway that worked for me that I got in those hours.

My work study is kind of like that. The pay is decent, and I can only work up to 19 hrs a week, but the department head has to work around my classes, so I don't get to set my own schedule. This quarter and next I'm doing independent study though, so it's easier for them and me to set up my hours. It's amazing, I love work study. Just wish I had done it sooner, before my senior year.
