Last night was one of those reasons why I can't imagine leaving New York City. Sing! was great. Despite all the "political" stuff, I have to say, I am always a huge fan of Sing! Are you planning to go to Purchase? I just graduated from there. I was gonna talk at an Out-At-Work panel, but I couldn't make it up. I was there this weekend though for Culture Shock (or Vulture Cock as some call it) and that was amazing.

Purchase is definitely a unique place. People tend to either absolutely love it, or hate it, and sometimes it permeates into a love/hate relationship. That was kind of my experience. It's great in terms of diversity, and interesting classes, and people. However the school can be disorganized and have a lot of red tape...I was a New Media major, focusing on Digital Video. I also took a lot of Sociology classes which I loved, and some really cool performance classes.
Culture shock is a really fun 2-day music festival, with carnival rides, carnival food, and plenty of drunken debauchery.
Where do you live? what do you think you want to major in?
