"Really?" Gene deadpanned as he rolled onto his back, sighed heavily before grabbing Peter firmly. "Not if I eat you first!"
Gene was never the most mature, he could play with kids easy. Which is why he had leapt out of bed with Peter thrown over his shoulder while the boy laughed and called for help. "Daaaad! Help! The yeti is gonna eat me!"
"Hey Sammy? Mind if I use the frying pan for Pete?"

Despite using eggs for breakfast instead of Peter, the two men got their charge to school with no trouble and headed into work. Two murders and one robbery. Oh yeah. Great day!

Well, all right, maybe they had been planning that since summer but it was perfect.
The boys laughed somewhat and Gene helped to dust the snow off.
"Sorry mate, I was sworn not to say anythin'. Now! Men, stop dickin' around and get to work!"

Chris actually looked afraid ofthe sound. Sam usually laughed when he was being superior.
