yunho, jaejoong and a baby

I was never much of a church person. And the precious time I sat there in one of the benches with my family, facing the pulpit while listening to the pastor’s message about how homosexuality is a sin and that anyone who was sucking cock was going to burn in hell in the end, was something I would have rather lived without.

That and the fact that I was having difficulty breathing because of this stupid illness was making my mood real sour.

“ACHHOO!” Junsu scratched irritably at his nose, wanting nothing more than to go back home and fucking sleep.

Gentle soothing hands landed on his back and the younger Kim sibling instantly found himself thanking all the gods in the world for giving him such an awesome, loving and caring brother. Well, okay that wasn’t entirely true because Kim Jaejoong on normal days was a complete pain in the ass. But nevertheless, he was thankful. “Thank you hyung.”

“Junsu-yah, did you take your medicine before we left?” Jaejoong quietly asked, his eyes awashed with concern.

Jung Yunho, his brother’s lover, not that it was anyone’s business, suggested. “We should sit at the back.”

Junsu regarded Yunho like he was the best person on earth, before he turned his eyes back to his brother and groggily replied. “I took my medicine and hyung I want to sit at the farthest corner where I can just go curl and sleep.”

Knowing Junsu’s dilemma, Jaejoong turned the rest of his family and began to have a quiet conversation with them.

Junsu watched his brother lean towards their step-father and mother’s figures, whispering something into their ears.

Geuom-sshi’s eyes darted to his and Junsu watched the elderly man eventually nod his head.

“It’s so much better here.” Jaejoong remarked once they were seated at the back. He was squished in between Junsu and Yunho and no one was looking at them anymore. Sneakily, he held Yunho’s hand in his and cheekily grinned.

Junsu rolled his eyes while looking at their entwined hands and the love struck expression on his brother’s face.

It was kind of strange really, his brother, resident bad boy and former gang leader getting reduced into… well, someone that actually looked alive for the first time in years. Yunho had been a good influence so Junsu wasn't one to complain.

Thank you Lord for introducing Jung Yunho to hyung’s previously emo ass. And no, I didn’t mean it like that.

Junsu had to make a clarification of course that he didn't mean it literally. After all judging from all the moans and groans he could very well hear coming from his Jaejoong-hyung's room at night, or whenever Yunho comes over really, it always souneded like Jung Yunho was introducing himself into his hyung's ass everytime. If you know what I mean.

Minutes passed and just like as if it was on cue, Junsu’s friend HyukJae’s grandma came in and seated herself one bench away in front of the three young men. In her arms was a baby, (HyukJae and his wife were both working and so their baby was always left within the grandmother’s care) appearing so cute and just so utterly squishable.

Junsu’s always had soft spot for babies, but he also knew he was sick and boohoo, damn, he can’t play with the kid.

“Hey Auntie, do you want me to carry the baby for you?” Yunho leaned in and whispered to the ahjumma’s ear.

Turning her neck around, a smile flitted her lips once she looked at Junsu and Jaejoong, knowing them as the Kim siblings. Eyes darting to Yunho’s puppy expression, she readily nodded her head and handed the baby to him.

Put-upon was exactly what Junsu felt. That was just not fair! Then add insult to injury when he tried to make funny faces at the small toddler, it even cried. Junsu figured that it was because of his sickness. Stupid virus!

Yunho held the baby carefully in his grasp. Resting both hands on the baby’s sides, just right under the armpits, Yunho began to slowly lift the baby up and down as it bounced on his lap, making funny faces and cooing cutely at the angel.

Jaejoong beside him was resting his head on Yunho’s shoulder as he held the tiny digits of the baby in his hand. “Aww, who’s the handsome boy? Who’s that handsome boy that I see. Goodness, it’s a great thing you look like your mom.”

Junsu giggled and playfully punched his brother in the shoulder. HyukJae was still his friend after all.

Not minding his baby’s brother soft jab, Jaejoong lifted his head upon Yunho's shoulder and held his hand in the air, wanting to hold the kid as he pouted cutely. “I wanna carry him Yunho ah.”

“But…” Yunho began to protest, lower lip jutting out. He was just beginning to have fun.

“Pleaseeee, come on, let me carry him.” Jaejoong pleaded and then squealed when Yunho handed the baby to him.

Yunho could never win against Jaejoong's pout. Not in a million years.

Jaejoong maneuvered the baby in his arms and began to jiggle him gently, humming a melody under his breath, one hand caressing the soft plump cheeks of the little angel, a beautiful smile painting his lips.

Junsu’s gaze softened at the look in his brother’s eyes. His hyung always had such a soft spot for children.

Later, the baby yawned, eyes fluttering open and close, loving the way he was being carried in Jaejoong’s arms.

“Ahh, he’s sleepy.” Junsu observed leaning against his brother to see the baby closer. But then his throat began to itch again and Junsu had to pull himself back before another coughing fit escaped his mouth. Seriously, it sucked!

Jaejoong craned his neck and looked at him with creased eyebrows. “That sounded bad just now.”

“What’s new?” Junsu said offhandedly, waving a hand in the air in clear dismissal. “I’m used to it.”

Reaching out a free hand, Jaejoong directed him a warm smile and ruffled his baby brother’s hair. Junsu half-glared.

Eyes flickering from Jaejoong and Junsu to the baby’s grandmother, Yunho leaned in and asked if she had a bottle of milk for the baby. Nodding and rummaging through her bag, she handed the bottle to Yunho with a kind smile.

“Here, Jaejoongie.” Yunho said, opening the cap and flicking a bit of the warm liquid into the back of his hand.

Jaejoong took the bottle and gently pushed it into the baby’s waiting mouth. Both chubby arms reflexively closed around the small container as the baby began to suck on the bottle nipple, gulping down his milk in succession.

“You really ooze the mother vibe you know that?” Yunho quietly said, draping an arm around Jaejoong’s shoulder and pressing him close to his side. “It’s a nice change from your bad boy days. Heh, this suits you better Jaejoongie.”

Jaejoong looked up and raised a fine eyebrow. “And what exactly suits me Yunho-yah?”

“This.” Yunho gestured at his posture. Baby in his arm, water bottle in his hand while he gently jiggled. “It’s cute.”

“Riggghtttt.” Jaejoong said, averting his gaze towards the front.

“You’ll be a great parent someday.” Yunho muttered in his ear. “You’ll be a great father, just like your Appa.”

“He’s my role model. Of course I’d want to be like him but…” Jaejoong trailed off and turned to Yunho. “There’s really no point in that now since it’s impossible for two men to have children. Unless you undergo a uterus implant.”

Yunho made a face and chuckled. “Why do I have to be the one giving birth?”

“Easy.” Jaejoong smugly smirked. “Because I’m the man in this relationship and you love me so much.”

“So I’m the woman?” Yunho gestured at himself with an amused smile. “Last time I checked I was pounding into-”

“Yunho.” Jaejoong shot him a warning look, knowing his lover’s train of thought before cocking his head towards his younger brother who was listening in to their conversation. “Junsu is listening and you know how much of a fanboy he is. It’s scary. Don’t give him any ideas about us or he’ll update his livejournal and spazz like crazy again. Believe me, I do read his entries from time to time and he has fanboy issues, especially with Hero and U-Know of TVXQ.”

“He’s openly gay.” Yunho pointed out with a smirk. “And I happen to like that band and pairing.”

“He’s too gay and blunt which is creepy.” Jaejoong supplied with a shudder. “And lay off the fanfics will you?”

“I like reading them.” Yunho admitted. “Especially when U-Know tops and Hero bottoms and they do it everywhere.”

“Oh god Junsu has corrupted you.” Jaejoong groaned. “And can we please not talk about sex with the baby here?”

“Woops, sorry.” Yunho sobered and cleared his throat. “Okay, I won’t insinuate topics anymore.”

“Good. And thank you.”

Yunho smiled, giggling when the baby giggled, looking up with round eyes at Jaejoong’s face. “Wow, he likes you.”

“Are you saying I’m not likeable?” Jaejoong asked with a half-glare, but he was smiling nevertheless.

“Oh you’re verrrrrryy likeable.” Yunho replied with a leer. “And very lovable too, and beep-able.”

Jaejoong burst into a fit of silent laughter at Yunho’s cuteness. “You just so totally censored the word.”

“Well like you said there’s a baby here and I’m being careful.”

“Pabo.” Jaejoong said with a grin.

“You love me anyway.”

Jaejoong would have smiled but he felt worried instead when he caught sight of an elderly man at a distance staring at them. “Yunho, your arm is draped around my shoulder and that guy over there is looking at us weird.”

“It’s his own problem not ours.” Yunho said, nuzzling Jaejoong’s hair and pulling him close.

“Uhhh, you do realize the pastor’s topic is about the wrongness of homosexuality?”

“Screw him.”

“Word.”

“Sorry.” Yunho apologized and sighed. “And I understand, ugh I hate it when we’re in public. Too many eyes. I can’t wait for this to be over so we can go to your apartment and get you out of these clothes and make love to you all night.”

“Anybody ever told you that you have a one-track mind?”

“Yep, you do. Everyday. And I couldn’t agree more.”

Jaejoong bit at his bottom-lip, trying to fight back a fit of giggles from erupting. “You’re too cute.”

“I do try baby, I do try.” Yunho replied with a smirk, but then it quickly dissolved into a worried frown when the baby suddenly began to wail while Jaejoong was feeding it. “Oh, what’s wrong with him?”

“His appetite reminds me of Changmin ah.” Jaejoong said with a shake of his head, realizing that at the short span of time Yunho and him were talking the bottle was already missing its contents. “Crap, he’s crying real loud.”

“I think it’s better if he give him back to Auntie.” Yunho advised, trying to help Jaejoong in shushing the baby down.

“Ahh, parents at the back.” The pastor’s booming voice made Yunho and Jaejoong snap their heads towards the direction of the pulpit, wide-eyed as they gulped. Everyone’s eyes were suddenly on them, giving them curious looks.

The pastor continued, not realizing because of the distance that the parents were two men. “Please do make your child stop crying in the middle of the sermon. Or if it doesn’t kindly go out and calm the baby’s cries outside.”

With their faces red from embarrassment, Yunho instantly pulled the arm that was draped across Jaejoong’s shoulder and laid it back to his lap, the same time that Jaejoong hurriedly handed the baby back to its original relative.

Junsu beside them just giggled. Oh, I’m so going to make a Hero/U-Know fanfiction about this! Eukyangkyang! Junsu chocked, cough, wheezed and coughed. Damn stupid sickness. Ugh, I hate bugs!
