a) I was riffing on "Avenue Q" (which you are definitely going to see now, even if I have to re-enact it with sock puppets) and
b) Creative Writing is a sub-major in the English Department at Miami. I think my diploma reads "Bachelor of Arts in English- Creative Writing and Political Science"
I remember promises from advisers and English Dept. lackeys of being qualified for anything! Anything! The world will be your oyster! Shellfish abound!
Turns out, here at least, I'm qualified for precious little except to speak the language. And I do that too fast.
