Science has always been my personal religion but a lot of my friends argue that it is missing key factors which make religion Religion. The factors vary among most people but a constant 'human' or 'emotional' theme is there. We know from quantum physics that we can not divest the observer from the observed. Therefore we only kid ourselves about objectivity in science, and therefore still place some faith in our results ( ... )

I strongly believe Science has what you call blind faith. Perhaps its application must be grounded and proven but scientists and visionaries will argue that there are dreams, goals and theories of understanding that are explicitly tied to Science and Human Consciousness. What I think we dualize is the fact that Science is somehow separate from Human Faith or inhuman comprehension but what I feel we miss time and again is just because WE don't understand it, then it immediately means it cannot be understood but I think its the oppisite. We are only capable of comprehending a portion of the picture for now but that is the continuous theme life has to offer us. Around every corner there will be something new to understand or comprehend, so our ability to understand the face of 'God' is limited only through time and the individual.
