Today has been a day of mixed emotions. It's great having my dad here and getting to spend time with him, but my mom called today to tell me that she had to put my cat down this morning. Well I got 99% of my stuff in today. My bed and new dresser arrive tomorrow afternoon and then all I have left is unpacking. A weeks worth of unpacking. At least. I worked on it for about 3 hours tonight, and I don't think I've even put a dent in it. But I'm planning on being here for at least two years. So I'll unpack well.

I can't say I'm surprised.

We went to Fenway tonight. Kelly, Michelle, Rob and I. It was an awesome game, we had awesome seats. I think we offended the family in front of us by talking about sex a little too much. Oops. Not any real pain, just a jolting pain in my neck and back if I turn the wrong way. Or any way really. I just want to lay down (preferably in a way that doesn't cause said pain, and not alone) and catch up on my TV. I start the new job on Friday and I can't wait. This is gonna be awesome! Once the pain stops.

I took my first trip to Fenway Park last night. It was awesome. I saw Jacoby Elsbury straight steal home. I got to see my favorite player on the Yankee's Active Roster go 0-3 with a walk. And I finally got to see Andy Pettitte pitch live. The Yankees lost and I still thought it was awesome. Now I'm looking for more tickets. I forgot how much ( Read more... )

Tonight's opener of a three-game series between the A's and the Yankees at Yankee Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date has been announced.

Or was it that eveyone from the A's was smoking pot? They are Californian hippies after all.
