How to do the washing up
Stopper wash basin
Twist knob labelled 'H' - momentarily, hot water will issue forth from the tap
Allow water to fill basin
Don gloves
Introduce cleansing substance to stream of water - this may be in powder or liquid form
When basin has filled twist knob labelled 'H' in the opposite direction
Place soilled dishes into water
Locate sponge or dish cloth
Scrub, you bastard
Unstopper basin, allow water to drain
Twist knob labelled 'C' - cold water should issue forth from the tap
Check that all traces of cleansing substance have been removed from each dish
Twist knob labelled 'C' in opposite direction.
Locate towel
Dry, you bastard
Place each item in its appropriate place in the cupboard
