No end to the Pomplamoose

On Craigslist* (Not my fault) I saw this huge NY picture for $75. Could not resist especially since Monday we went out to Ikea and saw it there for $200. I told Aaron that we needed a huge picture for our huge wall space.
I got to make the trip downtown to get it worried the whole time I'd have to strap this canvass sail to the top of our car to get it home.
The guy was incredibly nice and helped me break it down to manageable pieces which I managed to get down the hall, into the elevator and out to the car. Of course it started to rain.
Once at home I spent most of the afternoon putting it back together. (Which I swore I would never do again.) I put on some plastic gloves we have so I wouldn't get my greasy fingers all over it. This Ikea fan website (http://www.ikeafans.com/) had all the instructions telling me its ok to iron it on a very low heat setting to get out the wrinkles.
I had on the Transformers Score and looking down at myself I suddenly felt like a spy.

Wearing mostly black with black latex gloves and I just knew that I couldn't wait for Aaron to get home to shoot this I had to do it on my own.

What could be more spy like than wearing black ironing the back of a ridiculously large picture of New York City?
Today I finally convinced myself to go to LDS Employment services. I made the effort to look presentable. Then I spent nearly an hour trying to print off copies of my resume as the guy had suggested I do over the phone. The printer was not hooked up to a computer. Attempts to use the laptop failed so I had to drag this ridiculous machine from the back room into the front room and connect it and then re-size my resume (150%) ink cartridge was low etc. etc. I get there in time to see them drive away. *Sigh
Thats when the breakdown happens.
Are we in the 90's still? Is it really necessary to have a printed copy of my resume? The last job interview I went to the lady requested that I bring it in and she already had her own printed copy because I had emailed it to her. Why did she print it? Because she apparently wanted to take notes on it during the interview.
I'm actually more miffed now than I was at that time because when I went back the next day they didn't even talk about a resume. In fact that whole service is basically a goal setting networking kind of service. (Networking is done Wednesday mornings at 6:30 or some other unreasonable hour.)
After all this I think I'll just stick to being a spy.
