It all began on the Saturday, when copious amouns of booze were consumed, meaning very little beer being left by the time Laura Thomson and I arrived on the Monday. The barbeque was, I believe, on the Sunday. The weather was typically teucher - sunshine and a storm.
The first beach trip was on the Sunday. The second sand-bound trip (which was my first - still keeping up?) was on the Tuesday, the evening of which saw the finest ceilidh dancing in the world not being demonstrated on a very slippery floor.
Wednesday and Thursday were wet. Wednesday, various among us went to Ullapool. Thursday afternoon was when Kate, Anna, Tom and I tried to climb a hill, but ended up bog-snorkling. On Friday, some people wandered down to the caves along the coast.
Incontheivablely, I can't remember when 'The Princess Bride' was watched, but I have a confession to make: I am not left-handed.
