 Well, I've been looking around this community for a little while now and I've been thinking about possibly joining the RP.  I have a few questions to ask beforehand because I don't fully understand how this all works

I'm pretty sure that when you post your application in the application thread, one of the mods tells you where you wake up; elsewise you start off in the same area that James of SH2 began in?

I also find the rules unclear as to how often we have to post. I think there was mention that we have to check in once a week when a mod posts in one of the communities. We might have to post in our journals once a week as well.

...But it seems like the community is not very active right now. I've been lurking for nearly a week now and haven't seen any new posts anywhere. :< It makes me a sad panda! XD

Well you're pretty right about most of it. You apply on the application, fill out the information. (The more info the better IMO) You're assigned a location and either a radio or a flashlight, a map, and a communicator.

(Shrugs) I don't know who's left in here but I can always start something if you want. Since I can't figure out where the main mod is.

As I recall the head mod did make a post saying that she'd be taking a hiatus from the 17th - 27th of June for some reason (A trip I think)

Also the reason why the comm looks slow is because the characters are trapped in the Water Tower, and a lot of the action is going on in this log here.

(by the way, I think I'm the one who recommended this RP. It'd be awesome if you apped. :D)

I can answer some of th other questions.

As far as joining, you just put your character into a thread that's already open as long as it is open. If you have a question about that, you could always ask someone and they would tell you if it's okay to post. We're a pretty easygoing bunch.

As far as post count: Posting in your characters journal is not required, but appreciated. THe requirement for activity is to REPLY TO THE ACTIVITY CHECK POST THAT THE MODERATOR PUTS UP EVERY WEEK. Not enough people do this, but it is the requirement. You also have to post in the logs you run in, so that way the story at least, keeps moving. If you do not, after two weeks, your characters are stripped from you.

XD So when's the next activity check post? It's been over a week, hasn't it?

I got sort of bogged down with the post. I'm going to be doing it this week, so don't worry about seeing it until Sunday night.
