summary: a brief exchange about christmas gifts. unbeta'd bcos yolo it's just drabble.
The fans would always tweet them to rest, to stop working so hard and, Jaehyo’s personal favourite, to go the fuck to sleep already. It was 6:00am and posting a selca of himself in the practice room on Christmas Day made sure the messages of concern and affection came flooding in. It was sweet, and he could understand why they did it, but Jaehyo didn’t want to “stop working so hard”… and he’d already slept, he’d just decided to wake up early as well.
Jaehyo shifted his gaze from his phone and looked across the room. Yukwon had left Jiho’s side, muttering something about food, and that left them as the room’s only occupants. For a moment their eyes locked but Jaehyo looked back down at his phone. He flicked through his applications (of which there were many, most of them he’d never even used but he had heard they were cool… or Jihoon had accidentally downloaded them) before finding KakaoTalk. He swiped his thumb and scrolled through his friends list before finding his target - 우찌찌.
He brought up the chat window (background: Jiho’s morning face) and typed in a message:
재효: merry christmas
재효: jiho-yah
재효: what did you get me?
Jaehyo looked up just in time to see a smirk spread across Jiho’s face as he looked down at his own phone. Jiho’s eyes flickered up and looked briefly at Jaehyo before returning to the screen.
우찌찌: merry christmas, hyung
Once more their eyes met. Jiho blew him a kiss.
재효: 헐……..
우찌찌: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
우찌찌: i didn’t get you anything
우찌찌: sorry hyung
우찌찌: ♥
재효: die
And again they looked at each other. Jiho gazed softly at Jaehyo. Jaehyo glared.
우찌찌: was there something you wanted?
재효: it’s too late for you to buy me anything
재효: but oral sex is always a great last minute gift
Jaehyo was the one smirking now and when his eyes went back to Jiho he saw him staring at his phone, biting down on his bottom lip.
우지지: ok
우찌찌: that’s you sorted then

Jaehyo lingered over the question for a few moments. He had actually bought Jiho a gift (it was rather nice too, a silver ring with “빛이 되어 줘” engraved on the inside of the thick band) but maybe he’d give it to him later. Right now he just felt like teasing.
