Okay, time for rant!

WHAT is UP with guys calling their girlfriends babe, or baby? I mean, am I the only one who thinks this totally weird, gross, and/or wrong? Ugh. I hear my brother say it all the time, and it drives me nuts! "love ya, BABE" "hey, BABE" Bleh. Maybe this is just a me thing.  Well, whatever. Just like guys calling girls "chicks."

#1) Maybe you're overanalyzing "babe." I think it's a cute way to address someone, and unless you see a certain someone as a pimp or a Vegas champion, I think THAT'S what he means by it.

#1: I think it's disturbing, too. It's just like: That's not the girl's name, you super sonic idiotic disconnected brain-infected double decker ding dong dork freak of nature of a french fry (this, by the way, happens to be an inside joke between Alan and me when we were younger *and I'm not even sure if I got it right XD* and right here, this is what I'm calling those boys that do it). If you want to call someone "babe", don't do it in public, do it when there's no one around. :D

#2: Now, I think people are afraid of getting hurt, so they won't say that. Or that they don't have the courage to do so. :)

baby - i never really liked this term. though i hate "chicks" even more...such...a stupid n degrading term. baby is ok depending on how its said.
