i have a migraine.

i'm trying to write a huge ass labreport for ap biology with said migraine.

i am confident that i DO NOT want to go to ISU no matter what mother says. it's not right for me. i can feel it. i don't feel the same there as i do at Purdue. if i go there it's like shutting the door to my dreams and any dream i would have as a ( Read more... )

Hm...why don't you make your mom happy and apply at a DIFFERENT college. I don't know what USI or University of Evansville or any of those places have to offer, but maybe she just wants you to apply somewhere else in case (like this would -ever- happen) you don't get into Purdue. I can see her reasoning, but if ISU is not where you want to be, then you shouldn't have to even attempt to go there. I mean, it's not like they can deny people. They're a public school.

i've already been accepted to Purdue,like a month ago i think. she just wants me to stay home. she doesn't think i can make it on my own at Purdue.

Only not really. Just be polite, Marci. :) It's your life.

OR!!! I KNOW! You can make her life a living hell for the next however many months until school is out, and she'll realize she doesn't want you anywhere around her.

Or maybe you should just sit her down and tell her that her protectiveness is inhibiting your aspirations, and you're going to do what you want whether she likes it or not. :)

Anyway, Purdue is going to love you. End of discussion.

You are my roomate at Purdue. You are going and are going to make the Dean's list with me. You're going to get into vet school and be the best vet there ever was. Don't let your mommy tell you different. You want me to come and talk to her...because I will. You know that would make you laugh.
