I say go with your gut. Sounds like you like your essay and the admission lady enjoyed it so stick with it. We all know you are gonna get into NU. You're a bright kid, go with that.

I personally didn't find the lady very helpful, but she did read it like she would a normal essay passed over her desk. Thy're looking for content, not the nitty gritty stuff. As long as your voice comes through in the essay I'm sure it will be fine. Your english teacher could be helping you, or she just could not like your style of writing. Both people are coming from different places. She reads for a grade while the admissions reads to find out who you are. You know? Like the first person said, go with your gut.
