yeah, and I will buy it (assuming I have plenty of money)... but I don't know... I think the fact that you are playing characters that are scared of things you as a player aren't that scared of, while simultaniously they are perfectly content to talk to Lust, or Envy... when you the player are screaming for them not to.. that is classic, and enthralling.
Removing the kings, and removing alot of the things that terrify the parent, but wouldn't scare the child, while it makes sense... is removing something vital.
I have to agree that they are probably removing vital parts to the game. I think that the kings made the game an easier transition for some potential players. Honestly I don't see anything wrong with the first one. I also don't see it being a game where it is easy to construct a group.
If 2nd ed. actually makes it onto store shelves long enough I will definitely buy a copy.
yeah, they don't even list the first one as being made by key 20, let alone selling it anymore... which is a shame. I wish all the best for the second edition, Jason has made alot of good games (search for Insects of God if you want an awesome 1 shot weirdness fest) and deserves to be recognized for his craft.
It was recalled by Wizards, it wasn't recalled by Key 20. I went onto the Key 20 website almost 6 months later and picked it up. It just seems to have since disappeared. There is only one mention of the game on the entire website, and it is in the description for the game "Wyrd is Bond" where they mention it is from the maker of Little Fears.
