I hate those Amway people!! Looks like one of my close friends has fallen victim to their vicious pyramid scheme. She's always been rather naive, but she's really nice, and I hate them for tricking her. I came to know a few minutes ago, when someone called me with a 'business proposition', and I soon realised I was talking to an Amway recruiter.

The sad thing is that the products are actually quite good, but the people involved can't leave it at that - they want to suck you into their multi-level marketing pyramid scheme.

That's what I've heard, which is pretty strange. You would think an industry that involves selling your soul to the devil would cut corners in quality.

I'll give you that. They do have some unique products, albeit sinfully overpriced.

Definitely their products are good but really over-priced. Someone from their company, a so-called 'doctor' has been trying to come over to our place and has been contacting my mum non-stop. Its really irritating and she finally had to block his number on her mobile. Some person known to us passed on her number to this 'doctor'

OMG, they got all the way to India. They must be like the largest worldwide scam out there! I hope my friend is ok. I sent her an email, but I haven't heard back from her. I'd hate to imagine her having to go door to door selling Amway products.

Hope the best for her!!! Here they like to say that they are running an agency. We do not know why that 'doctor' wanted to contact my mum but maybe he wanted her to promote the stuff as well.
