For the past few nights I have been keeping myself up at night just thinking about stupid shit. As much as I try to fall asleep I just lay there thinking about anything from school, to work, and also my relationships. I want to know what I can to do get myself just to fall asleep ( not med's) when I get into bed and NOT make things worse by ( Read more... )

Well, if you were me then you could just eat a bunch of sugar, wait a half-hour and pass out. But that would probably have the opposite effect of you and you would end up being up all night. Uh...work out? Get yourself completely exhausted so you don't have time to think, and don't try to go to sleep when you're not really tired, because then you'll just end up lying in bed for hours - that's what I did last night. Besides that I don't really have any advice. But I love you and I hope you sleep better in the future!!! Muahness!!!

The advice is better than nothing. I have tried to work out and burn all my energy but I still just stay up thinking. I guess I can just get use to not sleeping very much.

That could work but knowing me it also might keep me up for a very long time. I guess I will just call you next time, it would be a better idea.
