Today I went to the French Embassy pick up my brand new passport so I can travel to New York this year without a visa, I was quite happy until after all the paperwork,fee paying etc... I am told that I actually have to apply for a visa because under the new laws , I am seven weeks late to be able to travel without visa on the same type of passport
