the same always seems to happen to me, too.
i get so mad at myself because i just can't feel sad when i feel like i should be.

i know how you feel. like when my grandmother died i was like o hmm i should feel really sad. we aren't like the people on tv or in the movies. we don't cry on cue. but the guilt ur feeling is probably shared by a lot of people. dont worry god would have probably "smited" 1/2 the world by now.

it's alright. we all deal in our own way. some ways might seem unnatural at first but then you realize that it is your way. feel better kaeli and try not to let this bother you.

Kaels, you're not a horrible person. You know that, I know that, and most other people do too.
Sometimes we don't know what to feel and think that what others are feeling is right for us. Remorse isn't always felt for people close to us; I know I wasn't phased in the least when my aunt died, or when my dad had cancer, even.
As for the jerko guy liking someone else... who needs him? Maybe why that hurts more is out of how "close to home" it hit. Not that I know the relationship you and your cousin shared.

when my uncle died, i felt the same way...devoid of emotion and so guilty and horrible for feeling that way. U know ur not a horrible person. And call me...we need to talk. I'll be home every afternoon and nite
