This Valentines day should be interesting. I am no longer with Steven which is weird after thinking that I would never have any other valentine. But I am involved with a really hot guy who better make a big deal tomorrow or...well I would like to say that would be it but I would be lying. I used to live in Silver Spring MD for a year. Thats right outside of DC. Where's your apt going to be?

Crazy drivers!!!!!!!!!!!! I feared for my life on a daily basis, and I was only a pedestrian.

Metro is awesome. Not scary one bit. Not at all. Not even at night. Well maybe a little shady. But not really. Can go out to clubs, bars, get shitfaced, and not have to worry about driving home! It would help of course if you lived close to a station. Once I learned how to ride the DC metro, I can ride any city's metro. Even Prague's!

Lots of good shopping malls. DC is really "ethnic". I mean seriously. I've never seen so many different types of black people. They have Jamaicans, Africans, haitians, you name it.

Do not expect good customer service any where you go. They will hate the fact that you are making them work.

Sucks you're leaving Germany. :( MD and DC is cool though. Wish I got out more when I was there.

So glad you left a comment cause I have been freakin myself out!!! I am going to actually be living in Maryland but my job is in DC...and of course I hope to party some so I will have to go to the city. I am not sure what is making me crazy cause all of my family lives on the east coast and my cousin is a pro rapper or something so I am sure I will meet lots of interesting people. I will have to keep in touch with you via LJ and you can direct me to the hot spots.!
