I used to bitch and complain a lot about how expensive it was to live in Germany...especially because I got paid in dollars and with the exchange rate etc etc. Tell ya what, DC is FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!!! It might bother me so much right now because I have not gotten my first paycheck yet so I am budget momma...trying to watch all my pennies but man

If it makes you feel any better, it still sucks here, I promise! However, the numbnuts in charge of COLA finally realized that indeed, the economics of Germany have changed over the last 2 years and they're giving us a bit of a hike in it.
