Thanks for reading it through! I have quite the long-post syndrome.

you have an incredible mind! you use so much layers, I feel stressed easily when I see I don't get what I want, LOL
but I learned a lot, your tecniques are "simple" to follow (if you know what I mean, lol), so I'll be trying to make something with these for sure!
And YESS, TVD is sooo beautiful, but it is so fucking hard to color! I try every single week, 'cause it is my fav show (airing atm), that's why I asked you for this tut, 'cause your result is so beautiful in its own color!
thank you so much!!! :D

It took so long for me to get used to using a ton of layers, and even longer to get used to how long it takes to make an icon my way. When I first got started, I could make like fifteen icons in half an hour, and now if I don't know what I'm going for it takes an hour to make three or four. Patience is a virtue that really sucks to learn sometimes lol. Anyways I hope some if it is useful! The photo filters are absolutely amazing on TVD caps, so try that for sure. :)
Me too! There's so much pretty and yet it's so terribly lit, I could strangle 'em sometimes. But you just have to experiment and keep trying. Something I'll mention that I didn't do in this image but I do in other TVD icons, the Variations tool(stamp new layer and then Image > Adjustments > Variations) can really help change the overall colors, which with TVD, is a big help.
No problem and I hope you get some help out of it! :)
